Registratore dati di temperatura e umidità Elitech RC-4HC (USB)

I have purchased data loggers from this company before. All work great, only one of the data loggers has a bad contact when connecting to the computer. I can't set anything.

The others work perfectly.

I bought this temperature logger to monitor flow temperatures on my central heating system in order to investigate a potential problem. It is excellent - very easy to use and good value for money.
Highly recommended.

Overall a good product, as all Elitech dataloggers I have tried so far. Easy to use, cheap, reliable and can export data in multiple formats including a report in PDF.

However, maybe it was me, but the advertising says "built in temperature and humidity sensor" plus an "external temperature probe", which led me to understand that it registered two temperatures (internal and external) plus humidity.

Turns out that when the external sensor is plugged, the internal one is automatically disabled.

It's a pity. In general, if you track the temperature of a subject and you need to track the environment humidity, you are usually interested in the environmental temperature, and the device has all the elements needed to do so....

Also, the penetration probe is IMHO a little bit too short to reach the core in some applications, you can only reach some centimeters under the surface.

The RC-4HC works very good. I use the device for monitoring the roomtemperature and optimizing the heating control. It's very easy to use. The enclosed software supports flexible parameters setup and download of the stored data. It's a great convenience.

Bought one to monitor a radiator to determine the duty cycle of the central heating. Worked really well, so bought a second to use outdoors and allow me to correlate the heating with the weather conditions. Excellent gadgets.
