I cheer and welcome the introduction of the combination of a vacuum pump and a digital gauge instead of just an imprecise analog vacuum gauge. However, I didn't use the pump intensely enough to give a full review but at delivery to pump (an Elitech V1200 220V Intelligent 2-stage vacuum pump) was creasy with remains of vacuum oil in the plastic back. Furthermore the vacuum gauge sensor cap was loose as was the connector of the solenoid valve. After fixing those little things I tried the pump and have to say that it runs smoothly without much oil vapor exhaust (far less than my existing vacuum pump). However, despite that the manual specify that 750 ml of oil is needed, I could enter only 650 ml. This fact can be caused by remains of vacuum oil in the pump chamber from the test run. At the first run I couldn't come below the 80 micron, later this improved to 60 micron. But what is more, after the pump stops the pressure runs up, slowly, to 15,000 micron and several tries to 8,000 micron. Didn't yet found the cause of this, but let me remind that for a perfect function of the air conditioner system the [absolute] pressure should remain below 1,500 micron (2 mbar). For the tests I used a small vacuum chamber of 250 ml directly connected to the pump without any hose attached. But overall I'm quite satisfied, but would see an ⅜" solenoid valve instead of an ¼" solenoid valve with an ⅜" adaptor as an improvement.
